THE ART OF HANUKAH tells the story of this holiday through art objects from many centuries. Hanukah is seen through artworks related to the re-dedication of the Holy Temple.  It is the ‘Holiday of Freedom’ and the ‘Holiday of Lights.’  Through the ages, the story is seen through a variety of formats: an illuminated manuscript, an etching, a woodcut, a photograph, paintings, and Hanukah Lamps of marble, brass, silver, stone, iron, and glass.
