JAE's film project, "The Art of Jewish Life", will present examples of Jewish visual art in their historical setting and interpret them within their geographic and chronological context. The full-feature film documentary will break new ground in a number of areas of Jewish life and culture. It will:

• Explore the cultural significance of art objects.

• Analyze the aesthetics and compare objects.

• Analyze the function and purpose of ritual objects.

• Reveal the varying views of the world during different time periods.
